I want to be candid with you, John.

When you elected me to Congress in 2018, I pledged to be the most accessible, transparent, and accountable member of Congress IL-14 has ever seen. I’ve worked to make good on that promise every day since.

You believed that I would best represent working families in our district and that I could have an impact. You believed in me and what we could do together.

And you weren’t wrong. I worked hard to be one of the most effective members of Congress — passing legislation to lower annual health care costs for working families, slash prescription drug prices, fight climate change, improve maternal health care for our veterans, and help save the lives of moms in and outside of the district.

I’m in Washington serving a third term doing what you elected me to do and I am proud to have had 14 bills passed into law . These are just as much your victories as they are mine.

We’re facing another uphill battle but when I see steadfast supporters including Margaret from Naperville chip in $10, Charity from Chicago chip in $25 or Kevan from Naperville chip in $5, I know we have what it takes to reach another victory.
