John xxxxxx --
Are you signed up to participate in
a service project for the National Day of Service?
Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. has asked
all of us to participate in the September 11th National Days of
Service and Remembrance, on
September 9, 10, and 11. Mr. Kennedy wants us to harness the
enthusiasm and momentum of his campaign to spark positive, lasting
change for communities that need it most, NOW, rather than waiting for
some distant time in the future. Mr. Kennedy will be
right by our side, participating in service
projects as well.
Over the past three weeks,
volunteers across the country have answered this call to service by
submitting over 100 Day of Service projects! These hosts
are looking to others in their communities to join their project and
contribute a few hours of time. Will you sign up for a service
project?
Some projects are filling up fast, while others still have a
need for many volunteers. With over 100 projects available to choose
from–with one in almost every state–we hope you can find
one near you. If not, there are also several virtual
projects (see below), as an alternative, or submit your own project!
These service projects are a great way to meet other supporters in
your region!
