Know how we know you’re one of VoteVets most committed supporters?

You’re reading this email. Over the years, a ton of people have joined us. But not everybody stays up to date with the work we’re doing.

You have, and just opening this email and reading to this point is a good sign that you have our back, even if we haven’t convinced you to donate yet.

And that’s good, because we need your help.

Tomorrow, we close the books on our August fundraising. And next month is an official FEC deadline month, which means we will be legally required to report our numbers. Everything we’ve raised will be public. A lot of people will be watching — our friends and our foes.

If we’re able to put in a strong report, we can support more of our friends. We can run ads around the country — ads that can swing races and win elections.

If we’re not, we have to scale back. And our foes in the GOP will notice… they’ll start making plans of their own, and that could lead to barrages of attack ads that can sink a campaign.

That’s why it’s really important that we put up a big number next month.

But right now, we’re still a bit short of our August goal. If you make your first donation today, we will get there.
