The attack on our public schools was on full display during the GOP presidential debate last week. MAGA extremists want to dismantle the Department of Education, gut public school funding, and ban books they don’t like.
But Democrats here at home and across the country are standing with our teachers, parents, and students.
In June, Gov. Lamont signed legislation making many important upgrades to Connecticut schools. Democrats in Washington are proudly standing with students to reduce the cost of college. And Democrats across the country are vocally opposing the banning of books.
