Rep. Henry Cueller of Texas’s 28th district of the U.S. House is a Democrat in name only (DINO). In a week, we have the opportunity to beat him with a true progressive.

Cueller is an establishment “Democrat” who:

Voted with Trump 70% of the time, while representing a district that Hillary Clinton won by a massive 20 point margin in 2016;
Voted with Republicans against DACA and supported legislation to punish ‘sanctuary cities’ for not allowing ICE to terrorize their communities;
Has an A rating from the NRA for opposing commonsense gun reform.

That’s why progressive Latinx Jessica Cisneros is fighting to replace Cueller in Texas’ primary election next Tuesday, March 3rd.

Jessica is the antidote to a fake Democrat like Cueller, and will actually represent the interests of this critical border district. As a human rights lawyer and the daughter of Mexican immigrants, Jessica has witnessed her family and community struggle with lack of access to affordable healthcare, few job opportunities, and a broken immigration system that tears families apart.
