Hi John,

A little over a month ago, we launched our campaign in the South Sound with energy, enthusiasm, and hope for our future. We knew our district was ready for a fresh style of leadership that’s focused on the facts, spoke in specifics, and could change the conversation in Congress.

That’s what our campaign has been about.

I’ve been attending events with local community leaders, connecting with voters, and sharing my vision with people across the district. Today, I wanted to share some photos from the trail with you so you could take a look at what we’ve been up to.

We had a packed house with a whole lot of energy at our event at Narrows Brewing Co. in Tacoma. With folks like this rallying behind our campaign, I know we can win.

Woody, one of our youngest supporters, is excited to show off his new bib! Thanks to parents Mollie and Robert for helping Woody make it -- and thanks for helping our campaign grow.

When I got into this race, I promised we would spend every hard-earned dollar contributed to our campaign wisely. I wanted our campaign to be about building a positive, purpose-driven movement focused on service for our future.

Because hundreds of our neighbors have decided to sign up to join our team and pitched in what they could, we’ve had a successful early start to our efforts.

Thanks to you, we’ve been traveling from Puyallup to Olympia to make sure my message reaches every voter we need to win. And I’m deeply grateful for your support.

Our whole future is ahead of us -- so let’s win this.
