It has been almost one year since the U.S. House passed H.R. 8 — but Majority Leader McConnell has refused to bring it to the Senate floor.

INACTION ON BACKGROUND CHECKS IS UNACCEPTABLE

Tell the U.S. Senate to pass background checks on all gun sales.

For an entire year, we have pushed Sen. Mitch McConnell and his allies in the U.S. Senate to pass background checks on all gun sales. And while he sat on his hands and did nothing, an estimated 38,000 people died from gun violence.

Senator McConnell has made it abundantly clear: he does not prioritize the hundreds of Americans who are shot and killed or wounded every single day.

The House did its part in February 2019 by passing H.R. 8, a bipartisan bill that would make background checks on all gun sales a reality. A policy that over 90% of American voters support.

We elect our Senators to work for us — now, we need to show them that this issue matters, and that we won't take "no" for an answer.

We need action.
