JOhn, NBC News recently reported two important things involving Virginia’s elections this year:

-Glenn Youngkin has raised $9.5 million in 2023 to assist Republican candidates in legislative races
-If Virginia Republicans win a legislative trifecta in November, passing a statewide abortion ban will be a top priority of theirs

Our commonwealth is the last southern state in which a woman’s bodily autonomy is still protected. If we can hold the line in 70 days and prevent Republicans from taking the State Senate, we’ll be sending a powerful message – one that will resonate across the country as we continue the fight to restore abortion rights.

I’ll be fighting on the front lines this fall to aid Democratic candidates in key districts, and I need your help. Virginia Republicans have a big financial edge, and it’s going to take grassroots energy to overcome them.
