Howdy John, Shad here.
We’ve got just a few days before we hit our August end-of-month fundraising deadline and I wanted to remind you how competitive Colorado will be in the 2024 election. We will need your help to win, and Colorado is certainly not a safe blue state.
Next year, Colorado will likely see races where results will be decided by just a few hundred votes, maybe even less. From breaking up extreme Republican majorities in our local and municipal offices to making Lauren Boebert a former Member of Congress, to regaining a Democratic majority in the U.S. Congress, we know we have our work cut out for us.
That’s why I’m asking you to help us out and contribute a few bucks today before our end-of-month deadline >> [[link removed]]

In Colorado, we will have two highly competitive Congressional campaigns in our 3rd and 8th Districts. Both have been called “EVEN” meaning these are true toss-up districts. While these races were close last year, they were only close because over 25,000 Democrats across both districts who usually vote in every election chose not to vote. This caused us to barely lose local races we should have won, including county commissioners and county clerks – the officials who administer our elections.
Our 3rd district is currently represented by MAGA extremist Lauren Boebert (cut to the chase and chip in here right now to power our work to defeat her). [[link removed]] As a Western Slope resident, I can tell you firsthand how badly we need a representative who is committed to our communities and not how many retweets she gets.
The 8th district is represented by Rep. Yadira Caraveo, a working class champion who fought against cuts to Social Security and Medicare, and who sticks up for our agricultural communities in Colorado.
A swing of a few seats could very well determine if Democrats regain control of Congress, like winning Boebert’s seat or losing Caraveo’s. For example, in 2022, Lauren Boebert only held onto her seat by 546 extra votes. Colorado could very likely be a battleground state that helps us take back our majority in the House.
We’re preparing to grow our operation across the state by putting organizers on the ground earlier than ever. We’re making thousands of calls across Boebert’s district, and we just trained our first graduating class of The Horizon Project , a deep canvass training program in CO8. Folks, we’re not waiting until next year to win these elections: we’re starting now. But, we can only do all this with your help.
John, can I count on you to chip in whatever you can before our end-of-month deadline so we can continue our work to defeat Lauren Boebert, take back the House, and build long-term Democratic infrastructure across the state? [[link removed]]

Shad Murib
