John,
The special election for Rhode Island’s 1st Congressional District is one week from today, and WFP champion Aaron Regunberg has real momentum.
A recent internal poll showed Aaron in first place, followed by a former registered lobbyist who’s received tens of thousands from lobbyists for Wall Street, Big Banks, and other exploitative corporations.
Now, dark money entities are smearing Aaron throughout the district with mailers from an LLC created less than a week ago using bogus information. They’re pulling out all the stops to attack Aaron because they know as well as we do that this election has consequences, and they know that we can win.
To fight back against corporate lobbyist donations and dark money, and help send this WFP champion to Congress, split a contribution between the WFP and Aaron Regunberg’s campaign to help fuel get out the vote efforts in these last 7 days.

In Rhode Island’s 1st Congressional District, the choice couldn’t be clearer.
Aaron Regunberg stood up to Big Oil and held them accountable as a climate lawyer, while his competition takes money from lobbyists for Marathon Petroleum, Occidental Petroleum, and the National Mining Association.
Aaron worked as a community organizer to improve and protect our public schools, while lobbyists for Charter Schools USA are trying to hand-pick their own candidate.
Aaron fights for Medicare for All and affordable health care, while lobbyists for Blue Cross/Blue Shield and a half dozen pharmaceutical companies pour thousands of dollars to try to beat him.
It's simple, John. His competition fights for big business. Aaron fights for the people.
Aaron’s message is resonating with voters who are ready for a government that works for the many, not the few. But with so many candidates on the ballot, every vote cast and every dollar raised could make the difference.
If you’re ready to help make sure voters in RI-01 know why Aaron is the right choice during this critical final week, split a donation between the WFP and Aaron Regunberg to spread the word and turn out voters before the polls close.
