John,
Welcome back to our Team Liz weekly update! Can you believe it's already the end of August? This month has flown by – keep reading to find out what we've been up to!
Over the weekend we stopped by the Muscoot Farmers Market, where we got to speak with small businesses and local farmers. As a former small business consultant and small business owner herself, Liz enjoys taking every opportunity to shop local and support small businesses right here in NY-17.
We also attended the Stony Point Dems fall fundraiser, and stopped by the Dutchess County fair — did you know it’s the largest county fair in New York? As an Iowan, I always appreciate a good fair!
This week Liz was featured in the New York Times! Check out this quote from Mike Lawler that was featured in the article. Our number one goal is to make Mike Lawler a one term Congressman and we need to make sure we have the strongest candidate to take him on!
Our end of month fundraising deadline is Thursday at midnight and every dollar you give helps us fuel this campaign and put us one step close to making sure Liz is our next Member of Congress. Will you chip in $17 right now to help us win back NY-17?
If you don’t already do so, make sure to follow us on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook to stay up-to-date with everything Team Liz.
Thank you so much for being on our team – nothing we do would be possible without your constant support!
Stay tuned for more!
Carissa
