We want to catch you up on Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger and Governor Brian Kemp’s latest voter suppression attempts — and let you know about a new way to fight back against their anti-voter agenda:

Raffensperger recently announced his plan to remove over 191,000 “inactive” voters from the rolls in August, and now he’s planning to move 184,000 more to “inactive” — a first step to later removing them from the voter rolls. It’s clear what the goal is: to silence voters’ voices ahead of critical elections.

This is Georgia Republicans’ latest offense, but it certainly isn’t their only one. Over the past several years, Kemp’s allies have led the charge to close dozens of polling locations across the state, strip power away from local elections officials, push dangerous conspiracy theories of so-called “election fraud,” and disproportionately purge Black and brown voters from the rolls in between election years… and that’s only a snapshot.

To combat Kemp and Raffensperger’s anti-voter agenda, we’re launching the Free and Fair Elections Fund. Every donation will help mitigate voter suppression attempts, ensure voters have the resources they need to access the ballot box, elect voting rights champions, and more.
