We've gotta stand up to these book bans,
John.

The school district I graduated from right in York, PA, passed what CNN
called the largest book ban in the history of American public education in
2021. They banned over 300 books, including the biographies of Rosa Parks
and MLK.

Even Fox News ran a story calling the ban racially motivated and wrong —
and imagine how bad it’s got to be to be too extreme for Fox News. 🤯🤯

So I’m helping fight back by supporting candidates for school board who
are opposed to these radical bans.

[ [link removed] ]Can you split a contribution between my campaign and these anti-ban
York school board candidates now, so we can fight back against extremist
book banning at the local and national level?

After months of pressure from the community, the York school board
temporarily lifted the book ban. When new school board members who opposed
the ban were elected, they finally reversed it.

But our work isn’t finished. Extremists who supported the ban are trying
to take over that same school board this year and ban even MORE books. We
can’t let that happen.

[ [link removed] ]John, by
donating now, you can help the school board candidates who are opposing
the radical GOP book ban in my hometown + help support my work in the
Senate. Will you chip in?

I know that together, we can beat these bans. 💪

Thank you,

❤️ John
