Dear John,
I’m emailing to update you on the Voice campaign and the Nationals’ efforts to ensure every Australian knows just how dangerous this risky, divisive, and unknown change to our constitution would be.
Australians across the country have received their information packs on the proposal and the campaign is on in earnest.
If you haven’t already, visit our www.oneandfree.au website to read our case against the Voice and for an equal and united Australia.
You might have seen the news coverage about Anthony Albanese admitting that he hasn’t even read the full 26-page Uluru Statement that the Voice proposal is supposedly in response to.
Australians are being asked to vote for a permanent change to our constitution, but Mr Albanese and Labor can’t say how it would work or even why they think it’s necessary.
We think it’s simple: if you don’t know, vote no. And Labor has made sure there’s no way for Australians to know.
Voice campaigners are trying to convince everyday Australians to support a vibe. The truth is that the Voice goes far beyond Constitutional recognition.
We know that if all those Australians are told the truth – that the Voice won’t help Indigenous Australians, but will be a permanent, legally risky, and bureaucratic change to our Constitution – they’ll vote no.
The Nationals are campaigning to get the truth out to Australians, and I’m able to share with you one example of the flyer that will be going out soon:
