Folks, Deborah said I should reach out.
I recently launched the first ad of my campaign to flip the North Carolina Lt. Governor’s office — an ad not just about me and my family, but the critical moment we face together.
It’s an ad about protecting basic rights and freedoms, giving everyone the chance to succeed, and getting North Carolina back to where we belong.
I want you to see what this campaign stands for: Click here to watch our launch ad, and if you support my message, split a donation between me and Deborah so I can share it with even more North Carolinians.
Many of you know my father’s story but may not know mine. I ran a domestic violence shelter, stood beside children in court when no one else could, served on my children’s public school board, and ran for office after they graduated.
Now, I serve North Carolina in the State Senate, and let me tell you — I’ve had a front-row seat to see far-right Republicans roll back decades of progress. From stripping away fundamental freedoms to eroding our public education system, we’re heading in the wrong direction.
I know that what North Carolina Republicans are doing in Raleigh doesn’t align with the values I learned on our family farm in Rock Ridge — the values that most North Carolinians hold dear.
Because in North Carolina, we know that we value all people equally — and that everyone deserves the right to make their own choices.
We know that the right thing to do is deliver jobs for those who can work, support for those who can’t, and great public schools for every kid in every county.
And we know that the Republican plan isn’t this year’s 12-week abortion ban; it’s next year’s total abortion ban. We won’t allow them to take us further backwards.
That’s why I’m running for Lieutenant Governor, and today I need you with me: Will you please split $5, $10, or whatever you can spare to support my first ad and introduce my campaign to every North Carolina voter?
If you've stored your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will process immediately.
This election is the first step towards North Carolina’s brighter future. I am thankful to have you standing with me.
