Hello John,
I believe that we can build a more just San Francisco. A San Francisco where residents in every neighborhood have good paying jobs and enough housing that is actually affordable. Where we invest in communities who have been left behind. Where we fight for a racially equitable future.
My time on the Board of Supervisors has been dedicated to this fight.
I’ve been relentlessly fighting to make housing in San Francisco more affordable, from securing $20 million for rent relief and social housing to support renters as we emerge from the pandemic, to implementing stronger eviction protections for renters, to establishing the Bayview SAFE Navigation Center which is helping hundreds of our unhoused neighbors on the path to housing security.
I’ve fought hard to drive investments into communities that have all too often been overlooked in the past. I led the creation of our city’s Dream Keeper Initiative, our largest yet investment in supporting San Francisco’s Black and African-American community. We are just beginning to see its impact, but I’m already inspired by the work of so many Black-led and Black-serving community, education, and workforce development groups.
If you want to join our efforts to fight for a better city, please make a contribution of $10, $20, or an amount you can afford now:
