Hi John,
I’m Jennifer Njuguna, one of the co-CEOs at Common Future. We recently announced a big change, when Jess Feingold and Sandhya Nakhasi joined me in taking the helm as our organization's new, multi-racial, all-women co-CEO team ([link removed]) .

Given the current political and economic climate, it’s been an interesting time to begin co-leadership of our organization. I’m sitting with many things—the Supreme Court’s recent decision on Affirmative Action, the ruling against President Biden’s student debt relief plan, and the limiting of LGBTQIA+ protections.
I would love to engage with you as we collectively work to address the challenges we face and also imagine what we want to build. As a starting point, I invite you to read or listen to my thoughts on the need for transformation, innovation, and solidarity ([link removed]) .

Jennifer Njuguna

P.S. Our Director of Portfolio Advancement, Andrea Perdomo, recently spoke on the recent anti-affirmative action attack targeting Fearless Fund, a venture capital fund for women of color. Check out her thoughts on our newly-launched Common Futurists Instagram account (under the “Fearless Fund” stories highlight). ([link removed])
