Earlier this month, Republican legislators passed a bill designed to make it harder for some North Carolinians to vote.
A few days ago, I vetoed it.
Now, I need your help to make sure we can secure voting rights for the future by breaking the GOP supermajority.
This bill was just the start, John. Already, we’re waiting for further anti-voter legislation to come to my desk for a veto. Then, we anticipate the GOP will attempt to push it through with their one-vote supermajorities.
We can only prevent continuing attacks on our most basic rights by ousting these anti-democracy lawmakers and electing leaders who will fight for all the people.
