Summer is over already ? I hope you made the most of it, we here at New Politics sure did with our candidate work and special events.

Now we’re kicking into gear for fall elections and 2024 — and we’ve got a lot to do.

Part of that means staffing up and growing our team. That’s a lot of work in itself, but we know growing internally means more support and resources for our New Politics candidates. Servant leaders have so much to give to our politics: courage in leadership, honesty, integrity, an understanding of how to put partisanship and personal interest aside to lead with values. These kinds of leaders have the power to transform communities and, if we elect enough of them, revitalize our democracy.

These folks are out there , they just need the support to enter into the political arena and run winning campaigns. That’s why it’s so important we have the staffing and resources to keep our services accessible and completely free to them.

New Politics supports outstanding military veterans and national service leaders, alumni of programs like AmeriCorps and the Peace Corps, to step up and serve our country again, this time through politics. We were proud to be behind the movement of veterans who ran for office for the first time in 2018, and we have big plans to grow into the future.
