I need to say thank you to everyone who’s helped out the last few days -- especially as the other side is pouring money into attack ads, smearing me and what we stand for. It means more than you know.

Tomorrow is the final FEC deadline of this election, and I’m challenging every single person on this team to put in the work.

Let’s put an exclamation point on our final fundraising report -- if we can get another 500 grassroots donations before tomorrow at midnight, we’ll have done all we can to eliminate Dan Lipinski’s fundraising advantage. Will you chip in right now?

When an underdog runs nearly even on fundraising, that’s usually a sign that a big upset is brewing.

Because when the other side (with all of its corporate interests and federal lobbyists) can’t drown you out in spending, the race gets decided by who has the right message and the best ability to reach voters.

And when it comes down to that, I really like our chances. We’re three weeks from Election Day, so I need to ask, John: Will you be one of 500 people who chip in before Wednesday night?
