Back in 1998 — 25 years ago — 24/7 crisis services for LGBTQ young people didn’t exist. The Trevor Project changed that. We saw a need, we acted, and today, we’re proud to be the leading suicide prevention and crisis intervention organization for LGBTQ young people.

We’ve come a long way since then, but there’s still so much work to be done. As we celebrate our 25th anniversary this year, we’re counting on your support.

In addition to crisis services, Trevor fosters a world where LGBTQ young people are less likely to experience crises in the first place. We sustain a welcoming online community, provide education and training to supportive adults, and shape public policy and legislation.

We can look back with pride, but we also must look forward with hope and determination. LGBTQ young people are facing legislative and social challenges that threaten their wellbeing and safety.
