Dear John,
As Ipas staff around the world celebrate our 50th anniversary ([link removed]) and all we’ve accomplished, we’re looking with excitement to the future—imagining all the ways we’ll help grow the global movement for reproductive justice.

One thing we know for sure: Digital innovations will drive an unprecedented expansion of abortion access over the next 50 years. We know this because Ipas is already well-versed in digital solutions that expand access to care ([link removed]) .

Our digital tools include mobile phone apps, chatbots, podcasts, videos and websites that share accurate information about abortion and contraception, build community support for gender equity and abortion rights, and connect people with the health services they need. For example, ten years ago my team in Kenya launched an award-winning, youth-focused website to share crucial sexual health information. Young people continue to rely on this website today!

In projects all over the world, we’ve seen how digital technology can give people the power to make their own decisions about their reproductive health. And we’re just getting started.
