In order to elect Democrats at every level of government in 2020, we must get to work now.
DemocratsJoin us.

I did not come to Congress to engage in partisan bickering and division. Neither did my husband, John. I've always striven to uphold his legacy of honest, bipartisan leadership -- driving progress and delivering tangible results for working families. I am not stopping now.

This administration is making that task extraordinarily difficult. They're chipping away at the progress you and I have fought for. They've attacked our democratic institutions at every turn. Donald Trump, his administration, and his Republican enablers have shown that they’re unwilling to do right by the working people of America, John. We have no choice but to vote them out this November.

The DNC is hard at work building the infrastructure our eventual presidential nominee and Democrats down the ballot will need to win this November. From critical tech upgrades, to investing in organizers on the ground, our party has big plans that require early commitments from all of us -- especially ahead of this deadline.

That’s why I’m asking: Will you make a $7 contribution to the Democratic National Committee before Saturday to help build the infrastructure we’ll need to elect Democrats nationwide in 2020?

I take my duty to fight for the people of Michigan and the United States very seriously, and I came to Congress with specific aims to improve the lives of working people in my state and nationwide. But we can’t accomplish our shared goals without the support of other Democrats in the House and Senate, which is why we must get to work now to ensure as many victories as possible come November.

My hopes for this year are twofold: To enact positive change for working Americans, and to begin to heal the divides that have brought pain to so many. This president is trying to bully his way into another four years in the Oval Office. That much is clear. But we must remain focused on our values and on doing the important work it'll take to elect Democrats to the White House and to seats all across our nation this November.

Democrats can’t win without you, John, so I hope you’ll join me in supporting the Democratic National Committee with a $7 donation before Saturday’s deadline.

Thank you for your support,

Debbie
