Good morning,

My name is Michael Feggans. I served in the Air Force for twenty years as
a healthcare cybersecurity and information specialist and also led medical
evacuations for our injured service members in Operation Enduring Freedom.

I’m running as a first-time candidate to flip Virginia’s 97th State House
district blue: If we win this race, Democrats are projected to flip the
State House blue.

Early voting begins in less than one month for every single one of the 100
Virginia State House seats that are up in November.

Mine is one of only four districts that was designated as a total toss-up

Republicans flipped this district from blue to red in 2021 by 115 votes to
flip control of the chamber: And in 2022, Democrats outvoted Republicans
by 5 entire points for that year’s U.S. House race in this district. We
can win this race but it’s going to be a nail-biter.

This race could come down to just a handful of votes. So I’m going to be
working tirelessly to win every vote that I can. In a local race like
