Through speaking engagements, podcasts, interviews, media publications, and workshops, TakeCharge is continuing to advance our mission of promoting the notion that the idea of America works for everyone regardless of race and station in life. Here is a list of all that we accomplished this month:
National Attention: Kendall and Sheila were invited to be on the President's Advisory Council of the Heritage Foundation in D.C. They discussed the tough issues facing America, but offered thoughtful solutions centered around faith, family, & education.
TRAPPED! Tour: Sheila began her statewide tour promoting her new podcast "Trapped: Chaos in the Classroom." She has visited with parents in cities across Minnesota, sharing the cold hard truths about what's really happening in our public schools.
The Promise of America: Kendall and Sheila both presented at Central Lakes College in Brainerd where they spoke about The Promise of America.
County Fairs: Kendall and Sheila were invited to the Swift County fair to speak with fair goers and share our message!
New Volunteers: We are excited to announce two new volunteers who are joining TakeCharge! Join us in welcoming Shandell Hunter, married father of four kids, and Anthony Bass, married father and former Minnesota Viking.
