As I've said before, this lawsuit will bring a new precedent for what the role of licensing boards - especially when it comes to policing free speech outside of the purview of your professional role.
This is especially important as rhetoric ramps up around another potential COVID pandemic. What we saw in 2020 and 2021 cannot become the norm. Doctors and other professionals must have the freedom to oppose the prevailing narrative. We saw teachers, nurses, doctors, and other professionals lose their job just because they spoke their mind.
