I reintroduced the Judiciary Act — and it’s picking up steam.

Hank Johnson for Congress

John,

Earlier this summer, I reintroduced my legislation to add seats to the U.S. Supreme Court — and it’s picking up steam. Will you help me continue building support to unpack the Trump-packed extremist Supreme Court by making a contribution to my campaign?

With no code of conduct, with dark money flowing in from far-right groups, with pay-to-play billionaires having justices addicted to the luxury gifts, travel and posh vacations they secretly provide, the current Supreme Court has been captured by right wing extremists and corporate dark money interests. Reforms are needed NOW — and those reforms include passing my legislation expanding the Court, and my bill binding justices to the same code of conduct that all other federal judges must follow.

When I first introduced the Judiciary Act expanding the Court last Congress, only two other members co-sponsored it from the beginning with me. Right now, we have 62 cosponsors. It also has support from a long list of great organizations, like Planned Parenthood, NARAL, End Citizens United, and March for Our Lives.

Together, we make up a strong coalition of grassroots supporters, changemakers, and organizations who are calling for and committed to delivering court reform. We’re spearheading a movement to expand the Supreme Court and undo the damage that conservatives have done by unfairly packing it with right-wing ideologues.

I’ve never felt more optimistic about court reform than I do right now, but I need your help to continue building momentum for the Judiciary Act. If you’re with me, please make a contribution to stand with me for court reform.
