John,
It’s officially Back to School season.
What used to be a time of excitement — and maybe even a little relief for
parents — has turned into a time of trepidation.
Parents across America are asking these questions as Joe Biden and the
Democrats continue to fail our children in schools:
* Will I be able to afford school supplies this year?
* Will my child learn more about a radical social agenda than math or science?
* If my child is in a crisis, will I even be notified?
These questions should not be normal to ask, but they have become all too real
for parents in our school system.
Test scores are plummeting across the nation to the lowest levels we’ve seen
in decades, with over 6.8 million children chronically absent.
Parents and Teachers are feeling the pain from Biden’s inflationary policies.
The cost of school supplies have increased by 24% over the last 2 years.
The Teachers’ Unions have more control than ever. Parents' concerns are
silenced by special interests.
Our schools are in disrepair, but there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
Here’s what Republicans are doing to fix this mess:
* This year, I was proud to join House Republicans and pass the Parents’ Bill
of Rights in Congress. I believe that parents deserve to have a say in their
child’s education.
* Virginia is leading the nation in defending Parents’ Rights and expanding
school choice.
* Republicans are winning school board elections across this country,
changing the system from the inside.
