This is personal.
My heart is breaking for the families and loved ones of those murdered in Jacksonville by a man with a gun and an anti-Black, antisemitic manifesto.
Black lives ripped away by unconscionable hate and cruelty.
Once again, white supremacy and anti-Black rhetoric has resulted in anti-Black violence and loss of life.
Racism is an existential threat to our communities. A matter of life and death.
On MSNBC yesterday, I spoke plainly about what is at stake.
The rise of organized violent white supremacy is a threat to everyone who calls this nation home and an acute threat to Black America.
