Friend,

Arizona’s state Supreme Court has agreed to reconsider an archaic 1864 law that orders prison time for abortion providers.

This case is a last-ditch effort by anti-abortion extremists to use an old law from before Arizona was even a state to essentially end legal abortion in Arizona. Luckily, Democratic AG Kris Mayes sprung into action after this announcement and asked the Court to reject the law entirely.

This is a reminder: Elections. Have. Consequences. Kris Mayes won last year by just 280 votes. That’s how close our AG races around the country can be. And those 280 votes mean patients across Arizona have a reproductive rights champion fighting for them, not an extremist Republican aiming to roll back their access to critical health care.

With elections this close, every single dollar we have to invest in our candidates can make a difference. That’s why we’re asking today you to chip in any amount (even just $5!) to support the Democratic AGs who are fighting on the frontlines to protect our reproductive rights.
