I’ve been on Congressman Clyburn’s team for years, John and he’s one of the hardest-working people I know. 

The Assistant Leader has worked tirelessly to lift up Americans all over South Carolina and our country -- whether that’s by passing the infrastructure bill to fix our roads and bridges and create good jobs while doing it or by passing the Inflation Reduction Act to lower the cost of insulin and other prescriptions for people on Medicare.

That sort of transformative progress is what drives Congressman Clyburn and this campaign.

But at the end of the day, campaigns cost a lot of money. That’s why we set monthly fundraising benchmarks, and we have an important one coming up later this week.

We’re more than halfway through the year, which means 2024 will be here before we know it. It also means each of these deadlines is more important than the last.

There’s no room for error -- especially with 2024 being a presidential year, which is expected to make races up and down the ballot more expensive and competitive. 

It’s not just about how much we raise though. It’s also about how many people get involved in our movement. 

That number signifies the strength and reach of our organization going into 2024, and with a strong organization in place, we can accomplish big things -- like flipping the House. 

That’s why this month, we set a goal to bring in 10,000 contributions. No matter how much you contribute -- whether it’s $1 or $100 -- it all puts us closer to our goal and is greatly appreciated.
