In his State of the Union address, President Trump claimed he would protect health care for Americans with pre-existing conditions.

But we know better. Since he took office, President Trump's administration has repeatedly tried to overturn critical provisions that millions of people rely on for accessible, affordable coverage. And just a week after the State of the Union, his proposed budget doubled down on policies that are downright dangerous for millions of Americans.

Trump's budget continues to fully fund the administration's legal case in Texas v. United States -- the case that if successful, would repeal the entire Affordable Care Act, including protections for Americans with pre-existing conditions.

That would be a disaster for families across the country. Repealing the Affordable Care Act would immediately threaten the health care of millions of Americans. We can't let him succeed.
