Hey John – how are you?!

I know it’s been hectic, and in between preparing children for back-to-school, winding down from vacation, or whatever else is on your busy end-of-August to-do list, I’m reaching out to you personally with a request. But before I do, can you donate $5 or more to help us inch closer to our goal?

As I said, it’s now back to school season, and soon our kids will be running back to their classes and schedules and friends. But as a parent myself, I know these times are now challenging and frightening. Our children are at risk going back to school. From elementaries to colleges, no classroom is safe from the threat of a shooter.

That’s precisely why we need to take action and elect leaders to Congress who will fight for your children. For your family. To ensure no one else has to grieve, and no one else has to fear sending children to school. I will be that leader who stands up to the gun lobby and fights for common sense gun legislation. I will advocate on behalf of families across Michigan and the country.
