Tropical Storm Idalia is making its way up the Gulf of Mexico and is likely to become a hurricane soon.

We know what these storms can do.  The property damage can be devastating, so I wanted share a couple of quick tips with you well ahead of any potential impact in Georgia:

-Make a list of all your covered items and take pictures of them.

-Write and photograph any damage to your property. 

-If your property is damaged, notify your insurance company as soon as you can. 

-Leave significant repairs to the experts. 

-Save all receipts.

-Beware of scammers.
