Dear John,
It's the end of August, which means back-to-school for all of us MI-01 parents!
As a mom, there's one question I want to make sure everyone knows the answer to:
Yes, I can be both a mom and a candidate at the same time.
Being a mom didn't stop me from attending the University of Michigan Law School with two tiny children.
It didn't stop me from becoming a committed veterans' advocate.
More than anything, being a mom motivates me to run for office and build a better world for my daughters.
We need more leaders who understand the struggles of parents raising kids these days – who understand the rising cost-of-living, outrageously high college tuition, and a challenging job market.
So, John, if you believe that moms not only can but should be running for office, can you chip in $10 to help fuel this campaign? We still need to raise $4,500 before August is over.
