John, this is outrageous.

A GOP Presidential candidate just attacked Ayanna Pressley, calling her a part of the “modern KKK.”

Ramaswamy is attacking Ayanna because she is a strong advocate for advancing racial justice, from ending the racial wealth gap to reforming our criminal justice system to addressing and ending police brutality.

It is absolutely ridiculous and offensive to call Ayanna a part of the “modern KKK.” Ayanna went on MSNBC yesterday and said:

"In one of my childhood memories that is deeply embedded in that my own ancestors and living family members have been brutalized, lynched, raped by the Ku Klux Klan. I recall when my family member had moved into a predominantly white cul-de-sac in the ’80s when I was a child. And we had a cross burned in our lawn."

John, we need to show Vivek Ramaswamy and the entire Republican Party that we have Ayanna’s back and will stand with her in the midst of attacks like this one.
