During the 2016 presidential campaign, Lyin’ Ted called Donald Trump “utterly amoral,” a “sniveling coward,” and a “pathological liar” who “lies practically every word that comes out of his mouth.” He also speculated that Trump could have ties to the mafia.
But seven years and one failed insurrection later, Ted’s done a complete 180 and is “pissed” that Trump is finally being held accountable for his crimes.
If Ted Cruz won’t even stand up to a would-be dictator who insulted his wife, who sought to destroy our democracy, and who he accused of having ties to the mafia, how can we ever trust him to do the right thing for Texans?
