The Georgia indictment made clear that bad actors are willing to try to breach election security to prove conspiracies. As Secretary of State, I addressed the first public insider election threat when Tina Peters compromised the Mesa County election system, and then led the first-in-nation law to safeguard our elections from insider threats. I spoke with Ali Velshi about the similarities between the Mesa County breach and the Coffee County, Georgia election equipment breach.
