By now, you know that I hate getting political emails with BS fundraising tactics as much as you do. False deadlines. Doom-and-gloom, sky-is-falling tactics. Fake goals and claims of “falling short by $3,459” or something like that.

I believe that if I’m asking you to trust my word in Congress, you should also be able to trust what I say as a candidate.

So when I say that August has been a slow month, and we’re over $50,000 short of where we should be – I 100 percent mean it.

Our supporters came through in the last reporting period: we broke the record of any previous Arizona congressional campaign and outraised David Schweikert – one of only three challengers in all of America to outraise the incumbent.

But all the momentum will be gone if we end up falling short in this period. We’ll get dismissed as a “flash in the pan” instead of a campaign that has what it takes to win.

That's why I'm asking you to consider making a contribution today to close our $50,000 gap. Whether it's $3, $33, $330, or $3,300, your ongoing support is crucial to maintaining our momentum.
