Dear
John,
Childhood hunger doesn't always look the
same - and that means it can be hard to spot. But one
thing's for sure:
When you make your first gift to No Kid
Hungry today, you'll help more kids get the meals they need
- no matter their circumstances.

For some kids, living with hunger means
saving their own food to give to younger siblings - as teacher
Staci Okuno has seen firsthand:
Peter would take his food and take one bite and then he'd
put that in his bag... open up the next thing and take one
bite," she said about one of her students. "He was taking
all of this home so that his (younger) sisters could have food. He was
hungry all the time, but would limit himself, and so really he was
taking on an adult role of providing food for his family as an
eight-year-old boy."
John, no
child should be in this heartbreaking situation. So please, take the
next step and become a supporter now to help ensure kids don't
have to grow up too fast.
