While summer might be coming to a close, Holme Pierrepont Country Park is here for all seasons, set in 270 acres of beautiful parkland. Whether it's a leisurely stroll, a brisk jog or cycling along the Regatta Lake, the park has plenty of routes to enjoy with family, friends and furry companions.
For young adventurers, the play park is a haven of laughter and exploration. You can also relish the warmth of a hot drink and a bite to eat in the Country Park Café. Outdoor Adventure activities are available every weekend.

The Lace Market Theatre is a small independent amateur theatre located in the centre of Nottingham, owned and operated by The Lace Market Theatre Trust Ltd, which is a registered charity.
It presents exciting, innovative theatre throughout the year, with drama for all tastes. All productions are open to the public. The theatre is run entirely by its members and is a member of the Little Theatre Guild.
The theatre has a good reputation for its varied programme of modern and traditional drama, comedy and occasional musical. There's an open evening on Friday 1 September where you can take a tour, learn more about the theatre and ask any questions.

Gedling Country Park opened in 2015 and has 580 acres of open space, footpaths and wildlife, with stunning views over the surrounding areas.
The park has a popular children’s play area, complete with a mining tower slide and zip wire, several picnic areas, two viewing platforms, a visitor centre where you can find out more about the history of the park and surrounding area, and the fabulous Café 1899.
There are lots of things to do at the park, from following the nature trail, watching wildlife, or just enjoying the many paths and routes around the park. If you are bringing a dog, please check the dog zone areas for where your dog needs to be on a lead.

Nottingham Castle

Nottingham Castle boasts 1000 years of history.
The Ducal Palace contains galleries and exhibitions with interactive and immersive displays. Current exhibitions include "70 Objeks & Tings" marking the Windrush 75th Anniversary, and "My Celebrities" - a series of paintings by Jemisha Maadhavji.
Visitors can also explore the castle grounds, adventure play area, cave tours and Brewhouse Yard cottages.
Pay once, visit all year round! Admission is just £12 per adult and kids under 15 go free (three children per adult).
