As we get closer to our annual Carnival celebration here in Brooklyn, I’m reminded of my friend and fellow member of the House Caribbean Caucus, Stacey Plaskett, and her fight to represent the needs of immigrants and U.S. citizens in our territories.

In our work in the Caucus, we’re working to ensure the Biden administration does right by Caribbean immigrants – and ALL immigrants.

Immigrants make our communities stronger and more vibrant. We’re a country of immigrants, and I’m proud to fight alongside Rep. Plaskett to oppose the anti-immigrant and white supremacist policies coming from the far-right.
