Bad news for Devin Nunes.

The Fresno Bee, Devin Nunes’ hometown paper, just announced that it won’t
be endorsing him for reelection this year.(1)

This would be a blow to any politician up for reelection, but for Nunes,
it's particularly devastating because the Bee endorsed him eight straight
times between 2002 and 2016.(2)

Devin Nunes barely pulled out a narrow victory in his last race, and with
even his hometown paper against him for the second time, we’re going
bigger than ever to end his political career once and for all.

In the words of Nunes’ hometown paper, “Nunes would rather appear on Fox
News shows than ensure people in Tulare and Fresno counties have clean
water, affordable health insurance, and job prospects.”(3)

That’s true, but it’s just the tip of the iceberg.

Nunes straight-up lied during the impeachment investigation when he had
firsthand knowledge about how Trump pressured Ukraine to investigate Joe
Biden.(4) He violated his oath of office, put our national security at
risk, and openly sold out his constituents in order to curry favor with
Trump.

Nunes only won his reelection in 2018 by a few points. This year, we’ve
got an even bigger plan to beat him.

* We’ll start with an in-depth polling campaign in Nunes’ district so we
know which issues and messages will turn out voters against him.
* Then we’ll run a major ad campaign, with billboards and digital ads,
to reach rural and suburban voters on his home turf and convince them
he’s not worth their consideration.
* Finally, we’ll contact thousands of voters with a cutting-edge
text-messaging get-out-the-vote effort to get them to the polls to
cast their votes against Nunes in November.

If we’re able to accomplish all of this, we’re confident we can show
Trump’s #1 stooge the door even though his district leans red.

But here’s the thing, Dear: it’s going to take the dedicated
support of our members and donors to fully implement this plan. Can you
