It's almost too cynical to believe.

After insulting the thousands of victims of the fires in Maui
that killed at least 115 people and hundreds more still missing,
the Biden administration is now demanding the American people
send 24 billion dollars of so-called "military aid" to Ukraine as
a condition of providing disaster relief to Hawaii.

Following in the wise footsteps of our chairman, Dr. Ron Paul,
Campaign for Liberty does not favor federal government disaster
relief. As Dr. Paul recently pointed out, "too much of the time
the money never gets to those who need it most". . .

. . . Nevertheless, it's hard to look at recent footage of the
devastation in Maui and then hear President Biden tell Congress
he needs another $24 billion for Ukraine.

Biden didn't even allow news of the disaster to interrupt his
vacation, telling reporters, "no comment" while sunning himself
on the beach.

Having now belatedly visited the suffering people of Maui, Biden
requested $12 billion in emergency funding for Maui - in the same
package as $24 billion in additional military spending for
Ukraine, meaning the funding for Hawaii's needs has been tied to
funding for Ukraine's military.

Even as separate matters, it would be a continuation of Biden's
America-last priorities that hundreds of billions of dollars are
spent on Ukraine while Americans in Hawaii, Ohio, and everywhere
else are suffering.

But taking the people of Maui as political hostages to demand
even more taxpayer money for a hopeless war that is destroying
Ukraine and that U.S.-led NATO provoked by amassing troops and
weapons on the Russian border, is something so morally repulsive
it shocks the conscience.

Make no mistake, Patriot, more military aid to Ukraine is simply
throwing good money after bad . . . and prolonging a war that
will only sentence more Ukrainians to death.

The writing has been on the wall for over a year. The leaked
Pentagon documents prove even the military didn't think Ukraine
was winning this war.

Now, nearly three months into the much-hyped Ukrainian offensive
that was promised would smash through Russian defenses and cut
off Crimea from Russia, Ukraine failed to capture even a single
abandoned village in the gray zone, much less penetrate even the
first line of Russian defenses. The vaunted Leopard tanks and
Bradley fighting vehicles burned on the battlefield like
everything else.

American and European military stockpiles are being depleted, so
much that Biden callously admitted last month he was sending
cluster munitions to Ukraine because we were running out of
conventional artillery shells to give.

Now Biden wants to double down on stupid and soak the American
taxpayers for another $24 billion - and he's holding the
suffering people of Maui hostage to demand it.

Patriot, the people of Hawaii are no one's political hostages.
And we must DEMAND lawmakers refuse to accept this
blood-for-blood demand.

Even if this cynical play to exploit the people of Hawaii fails,
the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) is definitely on
the agenda for September, and they may try to bury the spending
request in there.

Any which way, the endless continuation of the war in Ukraine has
served only to throw Ukrainian bodies into an increasingly
lopsided war that has failed to achieve any objective.

>>> The Biden administration said economic sanctions would
destroy Russia's economy. The sanctions failed.

>>> The Biden administration said Ukraine "had everything it
needed" for the offensive launched in June. The offensive failed.


>>> The Biden administration said the Russian people would rise
up and overthrow the Putin regime. Putin is still overwhelmingly
popular in Russia today.

And every day, the threat of major escalation looms greater.

If there is a nuclear exchange, the likely outcome is the
extinction of most life on Earth. There is no such thing as a
"tactical mini-nuke." Our doctrine, and Russia's, is to launch
everything the moment a nuclear weapon is deployed.

What's not destroyed by the blasts will die in the nuclear winter
that follows.

One escalation - even one mistake - and we're dead. It is that
serious.

That's why it is so critical we DEMAND lawmakers stop
perpetuating a war with no positive outcome possible.

Biden tried to destroy Russia, and instead destroyed Ukraine. It
will go down in history as his biggest failure, and one of the
greatest geopolitical failures of history.

Now he wants to throw another $24 billion into the fire, to keep
the fight going another few months (and then he will come back to
demand even more).

The war has bled our country for long enough. It was never in our
national interest to begin with.

Our own leaders in Washington are getting hundreds of thousands
of innocent people killed, while raiding the scarce resources of
Americans who are already suffering from Congress' reckless
spending.

We've spent so much money, so recklessly, Ukraine thinks nothing
of continuously demanding and expecting more.

The whole world is turning against the West. Biden wants to pour
gasoline on this fire and will not only neglect, but even hold
disaster-stricken Americans hostage, to do so.

Enough is enough. This is obscene.

Public opinion is moving in our direction.

But it's up to us to make Congress listen.
