What this year’s Virginia elections are really about is abortion.



DPVA Chairwoman Susan Swecker was just quoted in an article published by The New Republic stating that, “The Senate blue brick wall was the only thing that stopped us in the last two years from banning abortion in Virginia. We cannot turn the whole state government over to the MAGA party.” [[link removed]]



Simply put we HAVE to keep our VA State Senate majority and take back the VA House. The ramifications for w omen in our Commonwealth would be unthinkable. That’s why it’s up to all Virginians who care about fairness and keeping government out of one’s most private decisions to show up this November.



Virginia currently stands as the ONLY southern state that has not banned or restricted abortion since the overturning of Roe.
