Dear MoveOn member,
The age of "Teflon Don"—when Donald Trump's scandals haven't hurt him politically and have even helped him—may be coming to an end.
Most Americans—62%—now believe that Donald Trump has committed a crime, including a growing share of independents.1 And most view the indictments as serious.2
Between late May and late July, as the four criminal cases against Trump proceeded and the indictments began to pile up, Trump's net favorability rating fell nearly 10 points among Republicans and 5 points among all adults.3
Trump and Trumpism are not invincible, John. And we have an opportunity to defeat Trump and his MAGA brand of politics—if we come together to help Americans who don't follow the news day in and day out, or who get their news from biased sources, to understand Trump's crimes and how the Republican Party has enabled him for their own gain.
It's up to all of us to keep educating voters about the 91 criminal charges Trump faces, and the complicity of Republican leaders in enabling his criminality and corruption.
That's why, on Wednesday during the first GOP debate, we launched a powerful and hard-hitting ad on Fox News stations. The ad includes news footage of Trump's indictments as well as clips of GOP candidates Ron DeSantis, Vivek Ramswamy, and Nikki Haley all confirming that they will still support Trump—even if he is convicted.4
The ad is doing really well, so we want to run it on additional Fox News stations and on digital platforms. But buying airtime, especially on television, is extremely expensive, and we want to expand our reach to have as big an impact as possible.
Can you start a $5 monthly donation to help out? Your ongoing support will help us air our ad far and wide, and will help power our broader campaign to defeat Trump and MAGA in 2024.
No, I'm sorry, I can't make a monthly donation.
Finally, Trump's crimes and corruption might be catching with him.
But don't make the mistake of thinking it's now up to just the courts. Because after a decade of Trump at the center of American politics, we know just how Trump plays and distorts the truth in the court of public opinion.
And that's where MoveOn can have a big impact—if we have the resources to fight with all of our might.
John, we were able to get our hard-hitting ad on the air only because MoveOn members like you chipped in to fund it.
And with your help, we'll get this ad in front of even more voters.
Will you start a $5 monthly donation? Your ongoing contribution will help educate voters in key states about Trump's crimes and help ensure MoveOn has the resources to defeat MAGA extremism in 2024.
No, I'm sorry, I can't make a monthly donation.
Thanks for all you do.

Want to support MoveOn's work? Book bans have skyrocketed thanks to right-wing state laws which have forced teachers to remove books from their classrooms. In response, MoveOn is launching a "Banned Bookmobile," filling it with books that the far right has banned, and driving it around to hand out those books, for free, in highly trafficked areas that will attract media attention. To keep the Banned Bookmobile up and running into 2024, we need your help.
