Can you believe it’s almost September!? School is back in session and my campaign is kicking into high gear, with only 5 days until our next fundraising reporting deadline.

District 16 is the top pick-up opportunity for Democrats in the State Senate. I’m running against the chief sponsor of a restrictive, anti-abortion bill—and she’s blanketing our district with TV ads right now, outspending us by a 2-to-1 ratio. 

My Republican opponent comes from a family of politicians and she is funded by national groups who don’t have Henrico County’s best interest at heart. On top of advocating for stricter abortion laws, she has also worked to slash public education funding.
