The National Republican Congressional Committee rushed to name me a top
target for 2024 early on in the cycle because they see our rural Minnesota
district as the perfect opportunity to swoop in and pick up another House
seat.
But they don’t know MN-02 like I do. Donald Trump won my district in 2016,
but I've consistently won it by slim margins by fighting hard for working
families against powerful interests.

I attended the Progressive Change Campaign Committee's candidate training
when I first ran for Congress.
In the nearly five years I’ve been in Congress, I’ve fought day-in and
day-out to make life better for working families: Lower-priced
prescriptions, investment in clean-energy jobs, expanded access to health
care -- all while insisting Wall Street and the ultra-wealthy pay their
fair share.
The things we’ve accomplished as a team have been so meaningful, but
there’s more work to do.
