John, before I ask for your $10 contribution to my U.S. Senate campaign, can I please have a chance to explain why this month’s deadline matters so much — and why your support is essential at this point in the race?

A lot of folks think that political fundraising just leads to more TV ads in October and November of the election year.

And the truth is, when campaigns are waiting for a massive influx of donations until the final weeks, TV ads are the only place where they can spend them.

But TV ads alone don’t win elections. Long-term, early investments do — the kind that many campaigns have to scrape and claw together to hire staff, do voter outreach, and plan events weeks or months in advance.

As a member of the Biden-Harris National Advisory Board, we’re in a unique position to fill many of the gaps that my incumbent colleagues and bootstrapped Democratic challengers’ campaigns may not be in a position to handle themselves.

Last year, I traveled to Arizona, Georgia, Nevada, and New Hampshire to defend our “Core Four” Democratic incumbents — and thanks to your help, we defended every seat.

In fact, we even flipped Pennsylvania blue — making last year Democrats’ best midterm performance since FDR.

That is the kind of impact your contributions can have on the Senate map. It’s why I’m asking:

Will you contribute $10 or any amount to my U.S. Senate campaign before this week’s deadline so that I can continue to do everything in my power to defend our Senate majority from Mitch McConnell?

If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:

Even a $3 can make an enormous difference — because when you give $3, and the next person gives $3, we multiply our efforts for a movement that is more powerful than any dark money effort McConnell and his allies could ever hope to muster.

Thanks for being a part of this.

With love and gratitude,

Cory
