LINCOLN, NE ? Today, Governor Jim Pillen announced that 61 soldiers deployed to the southern border will return to Nebraska on Friday, Sept. 1. Members of the Nebraska Army National Guard have been in Texas since Aug. 2. Gov. Pillen joined Adjutant General Craig Strong for an in-person visit with the troops on Aug. 21.
